An accident between a motorcycle and a car has left a motorcyclist dead and police with questions, according to the Denver Post. The accident occurred near the intersection of West Alameda Avenue and South Clay Street in Denver on the evening of July 16 at around 6 p.m., according to NBC 9 News in Denver.
At the time of the report, the authorities were unclear on the details of the accident, and little information has been released since then. It has been reported that the motorcyclist was struck by the vehicle, causing the injuries that led to his or her death. However, what led to the collision was still under investigation at the time of this report.
The driver of the vehicle that hit the motorcyclist remained at the accident site until the police arrived. The motorcyclist did not die on the scene. The rider was transported to the hospital, where he or she was pronounced dead on arrival, according to the police.
