Law Tigers recently attended and sponsored Tejon Street Bike Fest in Colorado Springs, an event that celebrated current and historical motorcycle culture. The event, hosted along Tejon Street, included a tattoo competition, poker run, motorcycle show and other contests. A vendor show displayed leather jackets and other collectables popular in motorcycle culture.
Bad weather could not keep thousands of motorcyclists from attending. Despite thunderstorms, flash flood warnings and crazy weather, bikers from throughout the state enjoyed food, music and motorcycles.
In addition to a variety of contests and food and music, the Corona Bikini Contest winners won a shared $1,000 prize.
What Did The Colorado Springs Tejon Street Bike Fest Represent?
Event organizers wanted to put on a show that celebrated motorcycle culture, whether riders enjoyed Harley-Davidsons, dirt bikes or racing bikes. Motorcycle culture is inclusive, and open to anyone who has an interest in riding.
Any proceeds during the event went to the Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Museum. The Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Museum, operated by an all-volunteer staff, was opened in 1992 in Colorado Springs. Visitors of the Rocky Mountain Museum can enjoy a historical tour of motorcycle culture and view antique motorcycles.
