Metier Law Firm Expands Support of Realities for Children

FORT COLLINS, CO – May 2014 – Metier Law Firm has expanded its support of Realities for Children, a non-profit that provides emergency funding for abused, neglected or at at-risk children in Larimer County. Metier has become a gold level member of Realities for Children, providing monthly support for the organization’s programs and services.

“We strongly believe in the Realities for Children mission and are proud to partner with the organization to help them provide resources that change the lives of so many vulnerable children,” said Metier Law Firm Senior Managing Partner Tom Metier,

Metier has been a longtime supporter of Realities for Children, sponsoring such events as the annual Bikes for Tykes, which provides new and refurbished bikes to local kids. Through Law Tigers, the firm is also a premier sponsor of the

Annual Realities Ride and Rally, a 100-mile scenic ride through Northern Colorado that draws thousands of motorcyclists. Last year, the event set a record for the World’s Largest Poker Run (participants assemble a poker hand by picking up cards at various stops) and raised $100,000 for Realities for Children’s Emergency Fund. Realities for Children promotes and markets its members through advertising, community awareness, networking and socials, newsletters and social media. In addition to provide essential funding to abused, neglected and at-risk youth, Realities for Children also offers support to 25 local Affiliate Youth Agencies, raises awareness about child abuse through a variety of events and sponsors youth activities for the children it serves.
