Motorcycle Accident Kills Patrol Deputy

A motorcycle accident claimed the life of a Carrsville, Virginia deputy on April 7. Officers from the Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State troopers rushed to the scene of the crash, after a call was issued to 911 around 4:13 p.m. Officer Storm, of Windsor, died in the crash. The tragic scene took place in front of a residential area, leading to a number of crash witnesses. State police say Storm was headed north on Route 258, when he was ejected from his motorcycle and lost control of his bike.  The accident remains under investigation.

No one is immune to a fatal motorcycle accident. Officer Storm sustained fatal injuries, even though he was wearing a helmet. Unfortunately, many motorcycle accidents occur because of the negligence of another driver or manufacture error.
