Do You Have A Motorcycle Story To Tell?

Realities Ride 2012Have you ever seen The Long Way Round? Two men—famous actor Ewan McGregor and travel writer Charley Boorman—embark on a 20,000-mile journey around the world on a couple of BMW adventure bikes. The journey was harrowing and inspiring, and after watching it, a New York Times bestselling author couldn’t resist having a similar walkabout through his home state of Colorado.

Do You Have A Motorcycle Story To Tell?

Driven by an essential need to be a part of an epic story, John Eldredge, his friends and his sons came together to have their own Long Way Round experience, only this time their adventure would be through 1000 miles of Colorado back country, rivers, mountain passes and cliff sides. They made the journey on a set of BMW F800GS adventure bikes, and carved up roads and trails all over the state for eight days.

They explored, they cried and they even crashed along this eight-day journey, but through it all they persevered and recorded the whole experience for audiences to enjoy. A Story Worth Living is the title of the 90-minute documentary they pieced together from this grand adventure, and come May 19th, they will release the film to the world in a one-night event. Would you go and see their experience?

Riding a motorcycle is about different things for different people. Some ride for the scenery, some ride for the freedom, and some ride just for the excitement you can find out on the open road. No matter who you talk to, riding will always give you a story to tell when the engine shuts off and you hang your jacket up. So, what’s your story?
