A November 9 head-on car accident in Denver led to one death and one arrest, according to The Denver Post.
“The collision happened at about 5 a.m.,” Raquel Lopez, spokesperson for the Denver Police Department, told The Post.
The fatal car accident took place at the intersection of Federal Boulevard and Virginia Avenue. It resulted in one person being killed and two others being sent to the hospital with serious injuries, according to ABC 7 in Denver.
“After the crash, southbound Federal Boulevard was closed at Virginia Avenue and northbound Federal Boulevard between Custer and Virginia,” said Lopez.
Although the Denver Police Traffic Bureau was still investigating the accident at the time of this report, an arrest had been made in connection with the wreck. According to police, a 36-year-old man is being held for investigation of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault in connection with the crash.
Prior to this incident, public court records obtained by ABC 7 show that the 36-year-old has had multiple aliases, a DUI in 2001, a Denver DUI hit-and-run accident in 2005 and an assault and resisting arrest charge in 2009.
