An accident between a motorcycle and a SUV near Genesee, Colorado left a woman dead, according to ABC 7 in Denver. The accident occurred in the evening on November 10 in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70.

The woman who was killed was a passenger on the motorcycle, which was driven by an unidentified man. The man driving the motorcycle was injured in the crash. After the wreck, he was transported to St. Anthony’s Hospital for treatment. The injury status of the occupants of the SUV was not reported.

I-70 was closed so that a Flight for Life helicopter could land. The interstate was reopened at about 9 p.m. Colorado State Patrol was withholding the names of those involved in the accident at the time of this report, because their next of kin had not yet been notified.
